Abstract

Children who have attained full legal age are not protected by article 96 of the Civil Code, which applies only to underage children. If of-age children need economic support, including the support of a place to live, the parent could choose, under article 149 of the Civil Code, to provide the children with what they need by maintaining in his home the daughters who are so entitled. Any assignment of use of the family home to the wife must be grounded on the wife's own duly proved need or interest.
