PLACE OF CIVIL RESIDENCE AND NATIONALITY

Abstract

Persons who earn Spanish nationality may choose their place of civil residence when they have their nationality entered in the Civil Registry. Common residence is the more attractive choice, because in order to acquire residence in an area with special regional historical privileges a foreign citizen must meet the requirements in article 14.3.
