This short paper takes a critical look at the Decision of 8 July 2010, whereby the Directorate-General of Registries and Notarial Affairs enabled a third way with respect to titles predating a caveat of injunction. The DG holds that such titles can be registered, although they will «drag the charge»; i.e., the caveat is not to be cancelled ex officio, and the question is to be referred to the court that ordered the caveat, so it can decide whether or not the caveat should be lifted.
