Abstract

The birth of a new child as the result of a subsequent relationship is not in itself sufficient reason to result in the modification of child support already established for the children of a previous relationship. It is however necessary to know if the financial capacity or economic resources of the parents is insufficient to meet the obligation already established and the resulting needs of children born later.
