THE ALIMONY. NEW CRITERIA IN HIS DETERMINATION

Abstract

The alimony can be caused by various reasons and this will lead to apply different rules and actions. The way of knowing and determinated the amount has changed; situations of unemployment, wage cuts, the economic crisis poses problems for the obligation to pay maintenance and correspondingly also for receiving them. The Judicial Council has devised a system to establish more uniform pension and facilitate the calculation of the amount, trying to harmonize disparate existing criteria. Moreover, the case of pension payment is also studied without paying and mistakenly paid.
