Abstract

The first maternal súmame is maintained when it has been registered with the child since the birth of the child in the absence of the determined paternal affiliation and in the absence of agreement between the parents when it is determined. The protected interest of the child with respect to the change in the order of surnames is that which is inscribed in the Civil Registry, and with which it has been identified since then in family, social or school life. Independently of the age of the minor and, consequently, of the time that has come using the surnames.
