Towards a version convergent the traditional models of transfer of personal property

Abstract

Although there have been three more known around the transfer of ownership of personal property —agreed, causal, abstract—, and presented as irreconcilable historical models, the fact is that in the current environment where integration and legislative unification have become potential objective for action, it is time to combine solutions and look for areas of convergence to pave the way for legal harmonization and to achieve, slowly but surely, the long-awaited legislative harmonization, at least in a regional space.
