The publicity of registration information from the Peruvian standpoint

This article explains, from a Peruvian perspective, the theory and practice of the Land Registry Law. To this end it makes a historical explanation, which starts before Peruvian independence, followed by the early years of the Republic, and ends with the law that created the Public Registry in 1888, until today. The objective is to understand the characteristics of the Land Registry Law in contemporary Peruvian law, and the challenges that it faces taking into consideration the current context, which is impacted by the wide range of crimes that affect these rules.
