The Registry of Movable Property in Spain: contribution to the financing of private property (incipiently introduced in Cuba)

Abstract

This paper delivered on April 22, 2019 served as a keynote lecture at the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Law of Havana at the First International Conference on Theoretical and Practical Foundations of Registration held in Havana (Cuba) from 22 to 26 April 2019. It analyzed the main aspects of the Registry of Movable Property in Spain, which can serve as a model for the Registry of goods in Cuba, where an incipient market of guarantees to finance private property is being opened.
