The ordinary management of children’s assets. Its update in the Civil Code Proposal

Abstract

In this paper we analyze the problems posed in relation to the ordinary management of children’s property by their parents, taking into account the current regulation of our Civil Code, the Civil Code Catalan and the Civil Code Proposal submitted bny the Association of Civil Law Teachers. One of the most important functions of the parents in their consideration as managers of the patrimony of their children is the management of their assets, which integrates the essential basis of the economic aspect in parent-child relationships. This paper is aimed to improve the issues that in practice have been causing more problems or difficulties.
