Disinherited in times of pandemic

Abstract

The Covid-19 has intensified the feeling of detachment and loneliness of the neglected elderly, however the law states that only under certain taxed causes can parents exclude their relatives from the will. We wonder if in the new social reality, more and more frequent, that of dependent elderly people who are literally ignored by their families, the manifest and continued absence of family relationship between the deceased and the legitimate should be a cause of disinheritance.
