Abstract

This paper offers a comparative law study on the regulation of subjective conformity requirements in the context of the sale of goods and the supply of digital content and services following the transposition of Directives (EU) 2019/770 and 2019/771 in Spain. After highlighting the different paths chosen by the Spanish and Catalan legislators, the new features introduced are analysed in detail and an attempt is made to answer the different questions that arise in view of the new regulation.
