«Transaction agreement» is the term referring to any set of agreed-to provisions whereby, by means of reciprocal considerations and sacrifices, pending and future litigation is eliminated, as is the parties uncertainty about the legal relationship at issue, which uncertainty is, by pact, endowed with a binding, definite, determined configuration. A transaction puts an end to uncertainty.
