Registration of boundary corrections involves fulfilment of a series of requirements that are absolutely necessary in order for registration to occur. Among other things, it is vital for the registrar to have no doubt whatsoever about the identity of the property whose boundary correction is being registered. We analyse why this requirement is set, what we should understand as «grounded doubt» when the registrar refuses to register a boundary correction and the special nature of this operation.
