Abstract

The future partial amendment of nationality rules aims to encourage the acquisition of Spanish nationality by choice for third-generation descendents, grandparents of Spanish emigrants and children of foreign citizens (even if neither parent was born in Spain), who emigrated for economic reasons or were exiled for political reasons during or after the Civil War.
