Abstract

The vertical extension of ownership is a topic that has always been widely debated. This study endeavours to analyse the vertical division of ownership between the soil and the subsoil and the possibility of the subsoil's constituting an independent registered property, and if this is possible the conditions under which the property must be registered and the new relationships that are originated between the subsoil and the soil to which the subsoil originally belonged.
