Abstract

What words mean depends on the words' context and on the human situation within which the words are handled. Sometimes we see, however, that a single word meets several criteria that feature an original central understanding and parallel metaphorical or figurative extensions. Moreover, there are other, more complicated and interesting cases of words concerning objects that do not have any common qualitative properties. Lastly, there is a sector where words emerge fuzzily and vaguely: the legal realm, which is what this paper concerns.
