Abstract

The Decision of the Directorate-General of Registries and Notarial Affairs of 21 December 2007 analyses the declared purpose of a limited-liability company whose object is to invest in companies and estate agencies and to render professional services. The Decision classifies the company, which includes consultancy as part of its declared purpose, as an intermediation company instead of a professional corporation in the strict sense and excludes the company from the realm of application of Act 2/2007 on professional corporations. This question has got to be addressed, in view of the need for precision and clarity in company objects, with the intention of weighing the due imperative application.
