MINORS: ABANDONMENT AND REINTEGRATIONAbstract
The Supreme Court establishes as jurisprudential doctrine, first, that it is in order for a judge examining a challenge to a declaration of abandonment to consider whether circumstances have changed since the time when the declaration was made, in order to determine whether the parents are able to resume patria potestas, and, second, the weighing of the minor's interest in connection with the existence of a change of circumstances that could justify the parents' being able to resume patria potestas and the child's being reintegrated into his or her biological family.
