LAND REGISTRARS CONTRIBUTION TO THE EUROPEAN SPACE OF JUSTICE'S DEVELOPMENT.

Abstract

The European recent action in the field of civil justice is focused on streghtening the European citizenship's rights. Whenever european citizens make effective their right of free movement they get involved in legal relationships concerning immovable assets. Member states must facilitate the access of those acts to the land registry in order to make effective the principles of access to justice and protection of the fundamental right to private property. EU land registries must deliver their services at European scale within the space of freedom security and justice by promoting specific actions to make information available from any point of Europe by setting up of a single point of access to the national land registry information in the e-justice portal.
