Some problems and practical issues raised after the legal reform on mortgage debtor protection: the interpretation and settlement of DGRN

Abstract

This paper examines the most relevant practical issues that have aris- en in the registration law, after the latter made legal reforms, protecting the mortgagor. Basically we will build on the amendments that Law 1/2013 protection mortgagor has introduced in the mortgage constitution, to expose some problems or controversial issues that have arisen in practice. It will try to give an answer to them, basing on the doctrine established by the Dirección General de los Registros y del Notariado.
