Contribution to charges of marriage and compensation for domestic work in the system of separation of property

Abstract

The contribution to the raising of the loads of the marriage constitutes a duty that has to be assumed by booth spouses anyone that is the economic matrimonial agreed regime. In the regime of separate propeerty, work to the house is considered to be a form of contribution to the common expenses, when one spouse is only able to contribution in this way and also work for the house is considered a title obtain compensation in the moment of ending of the regime, as provided for in article 1438 of the Code Civil. The scope of that rule in the application indicated and the problematics that it generates, is going to centre on the present study.
