Products and rentals in the Civil Code

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to frame the fruits within the broader categories of income and patrimony. Analyze the sources of the fruits and their classes, paying special attention to the rentals. This test is accompanied by the author’s critical views, contributions and suggestions that would help settle a general theory of fruits. As a postscript redrafting of certain provisions of the Civil Code is proposed.
