Abstract

Universal accessibility works are an essential instrument for achieving the full validity of the independent living paradigm of people with disabilities, ensuring that they can access their homes and use the buildings and their services and facilities on equal terms with other people. In this study, after examining the public standards that regulate universal accessibility, we study the rules that in Spanish private law regulate the rights and obligations that guarantee the execution of works of accessibility in buildings.
